Celebrating Ada Lovelace Day – join our Manchester watch party!

Mix of SG logo and Ada Lovelace portrait

Ada Lovelace Day is an annual event held on the second Tuesday of October since 2009 to celebrate and raise awareness of the contributions of women to STEM fields. It is named after mathematician and computer science pioneer Ada Lovelace.

We are joining in the celebrations this year with a FREE watch party of the Finding Ada Science Cabaret, live from the Royal Institute in London, beamed into the Bright Building in Manchester Science Park.

Join us for networking, drinks and snacks from 6.30pm, watch party starts at 7.30pm and runs until 9.30pm, and all are welcome (although you probably want to bring an adult if under 18!). Sign up via eventbrite here:

Many thanks to Bruntwood SciTech for partnering with us on this, as part of their programme of community events.
