ScienceGrrl is collaborating with education company now>press>play to create a series of science-themed educational adventures for children. We are teaming our scientists with their writers to create a unique and exciting experiences, and we need your help!

If you would like to help create and deliver these experiences, please complete the form below by next Friday the 23rd of August – deadlines are tight! This opportunity is open to both male and female scientists, so do apply and spread the word!

Applicants should be:

  • Passionate about passing on their love of Science to the next generation
  • Excited by the prospect of working with a writer to create a now>press>play script and bring the science curriculum to life
  • Available to attend at least one school workshop in London and share their experience of working in a STEM career with young people.

Ellie is an Associate Professor in Urban Innovation at UCL's department for Science Technology Engineering and Public Policy (STEaPP). Ellie's research is driven by three intersecting themes: the impact of rapid urbanisation, technological innovation, and human wellbeing and social justice. Ellie is passionate about broadening access to Engineering and believes that diversity in Engineering is the cornerstone to solving some of the world’s greatest and most complex challenges. She also makes sure there is time in her week for music and dancing!
